Construction Cases
The 10 customized 45m³ asphalt transport tanks built by IKOM for Ghana have passed inspection and been shipped. Featuring a tri-axle chassis for both high load capacity and road adaptability, the tanks incorporate multi-layer thermal insulation and an intelligent temperature control system, maintaining asphalt temperature within ±5℃ to minimize material loss during transit. These tanks will be deployed in road upgrade projects in Ghana’s Western Region.

Features large capacity (e.g., 45m³) and high-efficiency thermal systems, maintaining precise temperature control (±5℃) to prevent solidification during transit, meeting cross-regional material supply demands for road construction.
Asphalt Heating Tanks: Focused on asphalt storage and melting, primarily in fixed/semi-mobile configurations. Utilizes fuel or electric heating systems to melt solid asphalt into workable fluid state, with sustained thermal maintenance ensuring on-demand readiness for road paving and repairs.

Core Technology:The system features a Quad-Core Configurationfor stable, efficient asphalt transfer. Its high-quality Triple Screw Asphalt Pump offers exceptional wear and high-temperature resistance, ensuring stable pressure and zero leakage during operation at 180-220°C.
Optimized Pipeline System:Includes integrated pipe heating and circulationto prevent cooling, solidification, and clogging, ensuring uninterrupted material flow.

Tank Structure: The IKOM asphalt transport tank offers a 45m³ capacity, constructed from 6mm thick Q345B carbon steel for high strength and corrosion resistance. Internal multi-layer baffles effectively dampen asphalt sloshing, enhancing driving safety.
Heating System: Dual-burner heating + precise temp control → rapid heating to working temps. 100mm high-efficiency insulation → maintains temp stability + reduces heat loss.
Chassis & Reliability: Equipped with high-quality axles and durable tires for superior load-bearing capacity and wear resistance. Designed to handle long-distance transport on complex road conditions, ensuring trouble-free operation throughout the journey.
Safety & Environmental Protection
Safety Design: Internal multi-layer baffles suppress asphalt sloshing, reducing rollover risk. The dual-burner system features overheat alarms + flameout protection + real-time temperature monitoring, preventing high-temperature hazards and ensuring stable transport.
